Ultrasound cavitation is a non-invasive treatment that removes localised areas of unwanted fat, with minimal discomfort or downtime.

The unwanted cellulite and excess fat cells are converted to liquid form and eliminated naturally from the body.

Ultrasound cavitation can be used on almost any area of the body where diet and exercise have not been successful in getting rid of excess fat. The most popular areas we treat are the arms, abdomen, thighs and buttocks.

It can be combined with radiofrequency skin tightening to enhance the results.

What happens during the treatment?

During the ultrasound cavitation treatment at the Revive Skin Emporium, the fully qualified practitioner applies a specially-designed hand piece to your skin.

The hand piece transmits low-level ultrasonic waves that cause ‘cavitation’ in the fat tissues. Cavitation occurs when tiny cavities or bubbles form in response to rapid changes in pressure. This action leads to the breaking down of the fat cells into a more liquid (emulsified) form.

You may feel only slight discomfort from the action of the ultrasound hand piece on your body, and a sensation of warmth, but no pain.

How long the treatment takes depends on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer, but most sessions last between 20 and 30 minutes.

Are there any side effects?

Ultrasound cavitation is a safe, non-surgical procedure that has few if any side effects and little or no downtime.

The ultrasonic energy levels created by the device are carefully controlled to target only specific fat cells and not affect other organs or tissue.

Before and after your treatment

We the Revive Skin Emporium we recommend that you drink about a litre of water before and after the treatment session. This will help your body to naturally eliminate the emulsified fat.

For best results, you should not drink alcohol for two days after the treatment. The alcohol may interfere with how effectively your liver removes the emulsified fat cells from your body.

We also recommend that you maintain a healthy, low-calorie diet and take regular exercise such as walking or other aerobic activities. Both of these will further help your body to process the fat after the treatment.

Treatment Plan

The more sessions the greater as all of the benefits are amplified. We recommend programs between 6-10 treatments, depending on your BMI and have put together special offer packages for this. We will personalise a plan for you at your initial consultation. ($35 fee is redeemable upon the first treatment).
